What is ODYO?

“Organisational Development for Youth Organisations”, in short ODYO, is an initiative that wants to highlight the importance of capacity building for youth organisations in Europe. We believe that capacity building/ organisational development should stand at the core of any youth NGO, always acting to become better and more efficient in their work with young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. Thus, we propose a self-assessment matrix to be applied in order to understand the status quo of the organisation and a series of development instruments that can be used to enhance areas in which the organisation is less effective or wants to improve. All the instruments are embedded in this website, in the toolkit and curricula.
